Marsden High School is an inclusive and culturally diverse government high school located at West Ryde. We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Uniform Shop Manager to manage our P&C run Uniform Shop.
Report to the P&C Executive you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Uniform Shop including, but not limited to:
- Stock procurement/ordering
- Sales
- Answering queries
- Regular stock takes
The Uniform Shop currently opens during school term as follows:
- 8.30am – 1.30 pm each Tuesday
- 8.30am – 10.30 am each Wednesday
Outside of these hours there is some ordering, stock control and other organizational duties. In addition to the hours outlined above, the Uniform shop is required to open on other occasions including school orientation and back to school periods.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Previous experience in a customer service capacity and demonstrated customer relation skills.
- Good verbal communication and fluent English language skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure; and
- Previous cash handling or uniform shop experience is highly desirable
- A current and valid driver’s licence.
The successful applicant will be required to have or obtain a Working with Children Check before employment can commence. Maintaining a valid Working with Children Check is an inherent requirement of the role.
