 \n\n&nbsp\;\n\nJob Description\n\nExcellent opportunity for a Treasury and
  Insurance Accountant on a part-time basis (ideally 9am – 1pm)who will b
 e primarily responsible for settlements of treasury instruments and the pr
 eparation of accounting journals including the preparation of disclosures 
 for the financial statements as they relate to treasury and insurance.\n\n
 The treasury and insurance accountant is also responsible for analysis of 
 interest expense\, FX valuation and postings\, and all post-claim resoluti
 on insurance processes such as arranging settlements\, raising accounting 
 entries and business pillar recharges.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nWhat you’ll do\n\nT
 reasury and Insurance Back Office:\n\n 	Arrange for settlement of all trea
 sury transactions and other high value or ad-hoc payments\n\nTreasury and 
 Insurance Middle Office:\n\n 	Journaling all treasury product from treasur
 y management system into accounting system and on-charging (when required)
 \n 	Assist in the preparation of financial data required for insurance pur
 poses\n 	Reconciliation of balance sheet and clearing accounts as they rel
 ate to treasury or insurance transactions\n 	Processing of month-end treas
 ury tasks including inter-company loans and FX\n 	Hedge Accounting\n\n&nbs
 p\;\n\nWhat you’ll bring\n\n 	Strong accounting skills with experience w
 orking in a corporate treasury\n 	Experienced user of treasury management 
 systems and accounting packages\n 	Awareness and understanding of Accounti
 ng Standard AASB9\n 	Intermediate MS Office skills (MS Excel\, MS Access\,
