Lane Cove - 6 weeks DESCRIPTION:Have you wondered how book reading helps toddler language?\n\nW ould you like tips and tricks to use during play time?\n\nDo you want to l earn more about rhyme and music together?\n\nWe have designed this group f or parents/caregivers to come with their little ones\; \;children 18 m onths to 3 years.\n\nParents love this group so why not organise the Mothe rs’ Group for a weekly catch up!\n\nGroup Goal:\n\nThe aim of these sess ions is to empower parents and caregivers to \;promote language develo pment \;of their child through play and reading and use skills in ever yday life.\n\nKey points:\n\n Our speech pathologist Maree\, will take ca re of you and has experience in running groups\, most recently at Hornsby Hospital and shows great creativity and care.\n Through play\, songs\, st ories and rhyme with your child\, we will explore a \;new language goa l each session \;that is practical for home and daycare.\n The sessio ns will help \;promote speech sound development \;and social skill s through play fun with new ideas.\n Useful \;tips and tricks \;o n how to use toys at home like playdough\, blocks\, cars\, pretend play an d more that will bring words to life!\n At the end of each week\, a “ta ke home sheet” is designed \;to help refresh and revise goals.
