We provide support in t he form of casework\, counselling\, advice\, referral\, advocacy\, parenti ng programs\, supported playgroups\, and we host a number of colocated par tner organisations.\nThis role is responsible for delivering the suite of Community and Family Support (CAFS) services\, including Supported Playgro ups\, Parenting Programs and other activities to vulnerable families and p arents to assist in providing solid parenting foundations.\nSalary is in a ccordance with the SCHADS Award and in line with your demonstrated skills\ , knowledge and experience. There is generous salary packaging\, a trainin g budget and EAP support available for this role. The TNC office is locate d in West Ryde\, a 2-minute walk from the West Ryde train station.\n \ ;\nKey Skills and Experience\nQualifications\n\n\n Relevant tertiary qual ifications in Social Work\, Early Childhood Education or substantial exper ience in a related field that includes parenting programs\, supported play groups\, and other relevant family work.\n National Police Check Clearanc e upon commencement (completed every three years).\n Current NSW Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) upon commencement.\n Current First Aid Cer tificates.\n Current NSW Driver's Licence.\n\nExperience Required\n\n\n Demonstrated experience in delivering effective programs to families.\n D emonstrated experience in providing supported playgroups\, parenting progr ams or family work.\n Direct experience and demonstrated skill in working with clients facing a range of issues and significant experience working with families with children between the ages of 0-18 years.\n\nComputer Sk ills\n\n\n Sound computer skills\, including use of Microsoft Office suit e and CRM databases.\n\nAptitude &\; Interpersonal Skills\n\n\n Abilit y to work well and autonomously\, within a team environment.\n Ability to prioritise workload in a busy and fast paced environment.\n Strong writt en and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.\n High level of att ention to detail.\n Able to use own initiative and handle multiple tasks. \n High-level organisational and coordination skills.\n Excellent interp ersonal skills.\n Professional personal presentation.\n Customer service orientation.\n\nDesirable Criteria\n\n\n Bilingual\n Experience working with individuals and families from a CALD background\n\n \;\nApplican ts should send their resume with a covering letter addressing the key skil ls and experience to connect@tncinc.org.au.
