SUMMARY:Shen Yun
DESCRIPTION:The Shen Yun Performing Arts returns to the Capitol Theatre in
Sydney from 8 – 17 March as part of its 2024 global tour.\n\nThe New Yor
k-based Shen Yun was founded by Chinese artists in 2006\, many of whom esc
aped oppression at the hands of China’s totalitarian regime – a regime
that is at war with past traditions\, religion\, and its own history.\n\n
Today\, these world-class artists preserve the traditions of China’s fiv
e-thousand-year culture\, while celebrating artistic freedom and faith –
around the world.\n\nFeaturing one of the world’s oldest art forms –
classical Chinese dance – along with patented high-tech backdrops and a
unique live orchestra\, Shen Yun opens a portal to a civilisation of encha
nting beauty and enlightening wisdom. Through classic stories of love\, fa
ith\, heroism\, and resilience\, Shen Yun presents a universal message of
hope and strength – for young and old alike.\n\nShen Yun tours to some 1
50 cities around the world each year. Some audience members drive hundreds
of kilometres to see it. Why? There are simply no words to describe it -
you have to see it with your own eyes to find out.\n\nBe prepared for a th
eatrical experience of a lifetime that will take your breath away!\n\n"Sim
 ply gorgeous stage magic. A must-see!" - Broadway World\n\n"Life-affirming
and life-changing. It's an experience that will stay with you long after
the final curtain." - Stage Whispers\n\nFor more information on Shen Yun\,
