The role is ideal for someone who wants to wo rk mostly in the afternoons.\n\nOur 68 place centre needs someone with exc ellent kitchen skills to prepare meals throughout the day for our children . Our current cook works part-time\, and as our enrolments have increased it’s becoming an overwhelming role for her – so we’ve decided to get some help!\n\n You will be on a split shift with another cook on alterna te days\, swapping over several times a week to catch up and debrief.\n Y ou will need to be available in the afternoons and all day Fridays\, with an occasional extra day here and there. We can also be flexible around sch ool holidays etc.\n You will need to pass a Working with Children Check a nd within three months of starting complete first aid and food handling tr aining. There are also some excellent courses in planning menus and workin g with children via the kitchen we would love you to attend\, and we can s upport the right candidate to do all of this.\n Our kitchen team also hav e a strong focus in our expansive garden – planting herbs and vegetables with the children\, tending to the garden\, and caring for our chickens!
