North Ryde Community Aid is seeking a volunteer to assist with running our weekly mother’s group that meets Friday mornings in North Ryde, 4 Cutler Parade.
Held during school terms, 10am-12pm, this group promotes friendship, play and engagement for both the mums and their preschool-aged children.
Supporting the coordinator each week, the volunteer role involves helping with the setup of the space for play, assisting with craft activities and overseeing the morning.
We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable and can come to the group each week with fresh ideas for play and ways to engage the children.
Time required is approx 2.5 hours per week and would be ideal for someone studying early childhood education/childcare and/or looking to be part of an established community group.
Parking is available and easily accessible by bus. If you have Friday mornings free and interested in this volunteer role we would love to hear from you.
