If you’re at least 140 cm tall, you can learn something new when you try the pottery wheel. Kids can try their hands at the traditional pottery wheel skills. Parents are welcome to book a spot in the class so you can enjoy the experience together.
You can now book SPRING SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLASSES
With structured guidance for over 2 hours, you can develop and practice your creative abilities while having a great time. An ideal introduction to pottery for newcomers of all ages. With a maximum of 8 students, each will get plenty of attention.
You’ll learn how to throw clay on the pottery wheel, including centring and shaping vessels. All the clay and tools they’ll need will be supplied. Kids will be challenged, get creative and have fun in the process.
Students can then choose their best two pieces and our team will finish each pot, have them fired twice and glazed. The pots will be ready for pick up about 4 to 5 weeks later. You can keep more than two pieces for $10 per piece.
