 nd it is on for 2 days with a Special Surprise Family Musical "RAMLEELA" a
 t 7pm on 14th Oct.\n\nDeepawali or Diwali is the biggest and the brightest
  of all Hindu festivals. It is the festival of lights: deep means “light
 ” and avali “a row\,” or “a row of lights.” Diwali is marked by 
 four days of celebration\, which literally illuminates the communities wit
 h its brilliance and dazzles all with its joy.\n\nThe festival is also obs
 erved by Sikhs and Jains\, with its main theme as the triumph of light ove
 r darkness and good over evil. The festival coincides with Hindu New year 
 and light\, seen as a metaphor for self-improvement\, representing new beg
 innings. This festival celebrates the return of Lord Rama and his wife Sit
 a to their kingdom after achieving victory over the demon king Ravana arou
 nd 15th century BC.\n\nThe lights of Diwali also signify a time of inner i
 llumination. Hindus believe that the light of lights is the one that stead
 ily shines in the chamber of the heart. Sitting quietly and fixing the min
 d on this supreme light illuminates the soul. It is an opportunity to cult
 ivate and enjoy eternal bliss.\n\nHindu Council of Australia (HCA) is cele
 brating the grand festival of Deepavali for the 5th year\, at Martin Place
  on the 12th of October and at the Parramatta Park on 14th and 15th of Oct
