Darcy St Project is a one of a kind social enterprise and trendy café located in the heart of Macquarie Park within walking distance of Macquarie Centre, Metro and Busses. We are a destination café that has been providing great hospitality experiences since 2014 from various sites across Sydney.

We are looking for casual/PT Cafe All-rounders to join our fun and energetic team. You must be fast on your feet, able to multitask, have great customer service and work well in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work a rotating roster that includes weekends. The role is likely to become permanent once lockdowns ease and we are able to offer dine in.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
- Greeting customers
- Waiting tables
- Running food and drinks
- Barista/ Coffee making and support roles
- General cafe duties
- Assist with online and catering orders
To be considered for this role you should:
- A current drivers licence.
- Be available on weekdays and weekends.
- Have at least 2 years experience as a Café All-rounder in a similar venue.
- However, an outgoing attitude and friendly personality is more important.
- Must be willing to learn on the job.
- Work in a fast paced and high-volume environment
- Able to work well under pressure and have problem solving skills.
- Work well in a team environment
- Must have a positive attitude, good work ethic and caring nature.
- Communication skills is essential
- Willing to assist in all necessary daily café duties
- Have a passion for hospitality, food, coffee, community and customer service
- Reliable and trustworthy.
- Available on weekdays and weekends
- Have Australian work rights (valid for at least 12 months).
- As we are a 7 day a week operation for breakfast and lunch we require someone flexible across the 7 days.
