DESCRIPTION:\n\nAngsana Early Learning Centre is a newly built family-owned
  early learning centre with a passion for multilingual learning - we are l
 ooking for a Full Time Chef. We have created a purpose-built and designed 
 centre for children aged 0-6 years old. A place of love\, laughter\, and l
 earning. This is our children’s village! Our multilingual approach will 
 give children the opportunity to take advantage of the optimal time in the
 ir lives to learn languages other than English – like Mandarin and Spani
 sh. We believe our children need to be equipped with the skills to communi
 cate effectively so that they can be independent\, creative\, and purposef
 ul thinkers and learners. Our holistic program is developed around a play-
 and-learn pedagogy in a nurturing environment that will encourage your chi
 ld to explore\, develop resilience and experience the world at large.\n\n\
 n\n\n[space_20]\n\nQualifications &amp\; experience\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n 	H
 igh level of proficiency in English both in verbal and written form\n 	Cer
 tificate in Food Handling and Menu planning\n 	Hold a Food Safety Supervis
 or Certificate\n 	Previous experience working in a kitchen\, preferably in
  an Early Learning Centre\n 	Awareness and understanding of NSW Food Autho
 rity guidelines.\n 	Fully Vaccinated against COVID -19\n 	Current first ai
 d certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) and CPR\n 	Curr
 ent Working With Children Check\n 	Early Childhood Education qualification
  preferred\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n[space_20]\n\nTasks &amp\; responsibilities\n\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n 	Be able to prepare meals for children aged 6 weeks to 6
  years. Daily meals include breakfast\, morning tea\, lunch and dessert\, 
 afternoon tea\, and a late snack.\n 	To plan nutritional menus and keep th
 em updated based on feedback from children\, teachers\, and families.\n 	B
 e involved in sourcing fresh food ingredients and working with local suppl
 iers/farmers and to undertake all ordering of food supplies to maintain a 
 stocked pantry\, fridge\, and freezer according to the menu.\n 	Manage Ang
 sana's fruit/vegetable garden.\n 	Maintain a clean\, hygienic kitchen/food
  store/dining room always. This will include daily cleaning tasks as well 
 as specified cleaning audits throughout the year.\n 	Able to cater for dif
 ferent dietary requirements and have sound knowledge and understanding of 
 allergies and dietary requirements.\n 	To ensure that industry food standa
 rds and company policies are implemented\, in providing appropriate health
 \, nutrition\, and safety for children.\n 	Run our Angsana cooking program
  teaching children to cook together alongside you.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
