DESCRIPTION:Canteen manager position available for immediate start (day 1\,
  term 3)\n\nDenistone East Public School is seeking a Canteen Manager to o
 versee the operation of our school canteen. The job requires&nbsp\;an enth
 usiastic leader to plan\, lead\, organise\, control and evaluate the day t
 o day operations of the&nbsp\;canteen.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nEmployment Conditions
 \n\nCasual – approximately 30 hours per week.&nbsp\;\n\nWage is accordin
 g to the Fast Food Industry Award 2010 (MA000003) plus 3%.\n\nThe hourly r
 ate is inclusive of a casual and holiday loading to compensate for leave e
 ntitlements.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nEssential Criteria:\n\n 	Experience in school c
 anteen management or similar food service industry.\n 	Ability to menu pla
 n to produce healthy\, nutritious and economically priced food&nbsp\;to me
 et the requirements of the NSW Healthy School Canteen Strategy.\n 	Knowled
 ge and experience of stock management processes including&nbsp\;ordering.\
 n 	Ability to work in a team environment with the capacity to organise and
  train&nbsp\;volunteers.\n 	Time management skills and ability to adhere t
 o deadlines.\n 	Knowledge of basic financial (including cash handling) and
  business management\n 	Customer service skills and rapport to interact wi
 th students\, parents and staff\n 	Strong communication skills\n 	Computer
  literacy using MS Office applications Excel\, Word and Internet with&nbsp
 \;a willingness to learn new software packages\n 	The successful applicant
  will be required to undertake a Working with Children check before&nbsp\;
 appointment to the position.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nDesirable Criteria:\n\n 	Experi
 ence with Munchmonitor or equivalent\n 	Applicants should be able to addre
