We are looking f or a customer-focused Canteen Assistant to join our Canteen Team.\n\n  \;\n\n\n\n\n\n\nReport to the Canteen Manager you will be responsible for: \n\n preparing pre-orders and food to be sold through the canteen\n rest ocking canteen supplies as required.\n assisting in maintaining a high st andard of cleanliness and hygiene including cleaning canteen equipment\, s helves and fridges.\n assisting other canteen staff and volunteers with t he serving at recess.\n\n \;\n\nThe hours of work are Monday to Friday \, 9.30 am to 12.30 pm during term time. Additional hours may be available during the year subject to operational requirements.\n\n \;\n\nTo be successful in this position you will have:\n\n Previous experience in a c ustomer service capacity and demonstrated customer relation skills.\n Goo d verbal communication.\n Ability to work as part of a team.\n Ability t o adapt to the varying demands of life in the canteen.\n Previous cash ha ndling is highly desirable\n\n \;\n\nThe successful applicant will be required to have or obtain a Working with Children Check before employment can commence.
