DESCRIPTION:\n 	Key management position\n 	Opportunity to make a real diffe
 rence\n 	Well established Organisation in Community Transport\n\nStryder i
 s a not-for-profit community transport service provider providing speciali
 sed transport for eligible clients\, primarily those who are transport dis
 advantaged due to their age\, frailty\, disability\, cultural\, language\,
  or other diverse needs.  Stryder also provides accessible transport opti
 ons for people on NDIS packages and Home Care Packages and complements its
  core business by offering transport solutions and bus hire to commercial 
 business.\nThe organisation is now looking to grow its business by appoint
 ing a Business Development Manager.\nTo be considered for this role\, the 
 ideal candidate will be:\n\n• able to demonstrate a strong background in
  sales and business development\;\n• a self-starter who can work autonom
 ously in a team environment\;\n• capable of building rapport and develop
 ing relationships quickly with new prospects\;\n• be able to creatively 
 contribute to the development of the sales strategy that aligns to the ove
 rall direction of the organisation.\nCandidates with experience in the com
 munity transport sector\, particularly with knowledge and understanding of
  reforms in the aged care and disability sector will be well regarded.\nRe
 porting to the General Manager\, the focus of the Business Development Man
 ager will be to grow and maintain business relationships by identifying ne
 w customers to meet all sales targets as defined in the business developme
 nt plan in order to contribute to the long term sustainability and growth 
 of Stryder.\nKey responsibilities will therefore include:\n\n• Achieveme
 nt of short and long term sales targets.\n• Development and implementati
 on of strategies to identify and secure new clients for our individual and
  group community transport service.\n• Originating and managing quotatio
 n and tender submissions.\n• Maintaining and managing relationships with
  existing customers.\n• Engaging with Stryder’s digital media platform
 s as well as being involved in promotional and marketing activities.\nOthe
 r skills and experience include:\n\n• Competent with Word\, Excel and Po
 wer-Point programs.\n• Strong negotiation skills\n• Excellent verbal a
 nd written communications skills.\n• Confident presentation skills\nAn a
