DESCRIPTION:There will be plenty in store for Mum's at our Mother's day cel
 ebrations at the iconic Blak Markets at Bare Island La Perouse Sunday\, Ma
 y 12 from 9:30am to 3pm.\n\nThere will be a weaving workshop with master w
 eaver Phyllis Stewart where you can learn to weave a basket or placemat.\n
 \nThis market will also feature a wonderful array of Native plants includi
 ng bushfoods and bush-herbs\, being developed by Indigigrow\, the other so
 cial enterprise arm of the charity who runs the Blak Markets.\n\nThe Blak 
 Markets are a great chance to buy authentic unique gifts knowing that 100%
  of the profits go back into Aboriginal communities. The Blak Markets feat
 ure authentic\, original and affordable Aboriginal artworks\, beauty produ
 cts and one-of-a-kind homewares and jewellery as well as Indigenous inspir
 ed food and refreshments.\n\nAlong with a cultural dance performance\, Abo
 riginal singer Charlie Trindall will be singing on the day\, along with an
  interactive session for the kids with Larry Brandy Storytellers.\n\nFor u
