Learn how to remain calm in an emergency and have the confidence to help your little one when they need you most.
The class is designed for parents, expecting parents, grandparents, family members or anyone involved in the care of young babies or children (birth – 8 years).
You will learn how to perform life saving CPR & first aid skills for the most common child related emergencies such as choking, drowning, burns, temperatures, febrile convulsions, seizures, falls, head injuries, broken bones, poisoning, bites & stings, dehydration, allergies & anaphylaxis and more.
The class is presented as a ‘hands on’ practical workshop where you will have ample opportunity to practice CPR & first aid skills on state of the art manikins. The take out for you from this class will be the confidence to act quickly and calmly in an emergency until help arrives, as a result you could save the life of your baby or child.
