 ive story through food\, music and art.\n\nStart the day at the Sunrise Ce
 remony conducted by the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council and the
 n enjoy Sydney Festival’s Bayala-Baraya: Sing Up Country (Link) performa
 nce which is part of the WululOra (link) ceremony\, the official opening o
 f the NSW Australia Day Council’s program. WugulOra (link) starts with t
 he ceremonial Mourning Fire travelling across the harbour from Me-mel (Goa
 t Island) where a procession of Aboriginal women transport the fire to Bar
 angaroo Reserve.\n\nFrom 8.30am an all-day Sydney brunch curated by Jared 
 Ingersoll will see a menu reflect the best flavours of Australia including
  international favourites fused to create new culinary delights. There wil
 l be something for everyone (even the fussy) like these local favourites: 
 bacon &amp\; egg rolls from our Aussie car-be-cue\, avo’ on toast and me
 at pies. There will even be a decent cuppa tea on hand. A menu for all of 
 us!\n\nMusic director and DJ\, Peewee Ferris\, will deliver an immersive s
 oundtrack showcasing the musical diversity of Australia. The soundtrack wi
 ll commence with a live performance by Casey Donovan and will continue thr
 oughout the day with Latin\, Reggae\, Blues and Soul. There will be songs 
 for the kids\, some Funk to Aussie Pop and throw in some Aussie Rock’n
 ’Roll. A soundtrack for all of us!\n\nMore activities throughout the day
  include watching Sydney’s annual Ferrython from a perfect vantage point
  on the Reserve.\n\nAs the day draws to a close\, we invite you to partici
 pate in Sydney Festival’s Four Thousand Fish.\n\nFour Thousand Fish invi
 tes you to visit Nawi Cove and create your own frozen fish using sea water
  and a cast mould to help return the frozen fish to the Harbour. Join us a
 t this large-scale art installation to celebrate fisherwoman Barangaroo\, 
 the influential and resilient Cammeraygal woman after whom the place is na
 med.
