Celebrate the 60 year history of Guide Dogs at the 60 Tails – 60 Years of Guide Dogs exhibition this January at The Concourse Art Space in Chatswood.
The exhibition will showcase the services and achievements of Guide Dogs NSW/ACT through photographs, posters and hand-painted ceramic model dog collection boxes. There will also be opportunities to cuddle young Guide Dog puppies, pat Ambassador Dogs, and watch a working Guide Dog demonstration – perfect for the school holidays.
Since Guide Dogs NSW/ACT opened its doors in 1957, Guide Dogs NSW/ACT has been delivering life-changing services to people who are blind or vision impaired. Throughout this period, the organisation has experienced significant changes from how dogs are bred and trained, to the innovative accessible technologies that give people with vision impairment freedom and mobility.
