Cressy Road Early Learning, a 68 place centre based in Ryde, is seeking an educator to join our team. Our enrolments are growing, and one of our long term staff is retiring, so we need a few more dynamic educators to join the crew.
The role is ideal for someone who wants to work mostly in the afternoons.
Happy to talk to educators at all levels – maybe you’re looking to start a traineeship? Maybe you’re looking to re-enter the workforce? Maybe you’re an experienced educator looking for a change? Come and have a chat and find out if this is the right team for you.
- You will need to have a love of learning together with the children in a play-based, natural environment.
- You might be someone who brings unique skills to the team – perhaps you want to be the ‘outdoor educator’? Or to run a specialist art program? Or you love to cook and want to bring that into the classroom?
- While we can be somewhat flexible around family/study commitments, we do need you to be able to commit to the evening shifts and to work on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
- You will need to pass a Working with Children Check, and be enrolled in, or have completed qualifications in Children’s Services / Early Childhood Education.
- We pride ourselves on being a flexible and supportive workplace who have won countless awards for sector leadership and innovative and supportive management. We have above award rates and conditions. We also have a comprehensive HR and EAP, offer staff discounts for care, paid professional development and everyone gets to have their birthday off!
- Salary is dependent on your skills, experience and qualifications. We are an equal opportunity employer with a range of cultures and lifestyles represented in our team, and around 25% of the team are male – so men are strongly encouraged to apply. You can find out more about us via our website: www.cressyroad.nsw.edu.au.
From one of our team: “I’ve worked for Nesha for 15 and a half years as an Educator and during my time I have worked with babies to pre-school age children. Nesha is a strong believer and supporter in children’s rights and education & the ongoing professional development of her staff. During my years I have been fortunate enough to have participated in many educational programs that Nesha has brought to the centre. With Nesha’s support and guidance, I was able to further my education and complete my Certificate III. I have been fortunate enough to have worked with many wonderful people over the years and wish everyone the best. If you’re looking for a job that will give you growth, support, be part of an awesome team and love what you do, then a job in childcare is for you.”
