If you haven’t heard of Aquatopia, listen up! Being in Prariewood, it’s not the closest, but it’s absolutely worth the drive (around 30 minutes from Ryde). Plus, it’s super affordable! For a family of four (2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children), entry is under $76, and kids under 3 enter for free!
Our first visit was way back in January 2018, and we’ve been going back every year since. There’s so much to enjoy, including:
- Giant Slides: 10-metre and 20-metre tall slides for thrill-seekers
- Adventure Aqua Tower: Packed with slides, sprinklers, water play, and tunnels
- Toddlers Pool: Perfect for little ones

Younger children
- Children under 3 enter for free and receive a green wristband, indicating the need for adult supervision at all times.
- The main area includes small slides and various water features suitable for younger kids.
Older Children
- Larger slides require a minimum height of 120cm; a measuring ruler is available at reception.
- The park offers a range of medium-sized slides, including open, twisty, and dark tunnel slides, catering to thrill-seekers.
- The Wave Rider and the 55m Wave Pool provide additional excitement for older children and adults.
Tickets and Waiting Times
- Tickets must be purchased online in advance, especially during peak times, as daily entries are limited. Click here to buy.
- Waiting times for attractions vary; newer features like the wave pool may have longer queues, while the Aqua Tower typically has minimal wait times.
Facilities
- Shaded areas are available near the toddler splash area and throughout the park, including large umbrellas and shade sails.

Tips for Visitors:
- Pre-booking is essential! Get tix here.
- Bring a driver’s license for identification upon entry.
- Pack a picnic, as the on-site kiosk offers limited options and may have queues.
- Arrive early (opening time is 11 am) to secure a good spot.
- Inflatable rings are not permitted; however, personal floaties or vests for children and boogie boards for the wave pool are allowed.
- Regularly apply sunscreen throughout the day.
