SDN Macquarie Park is part of SDN Children’s Services, a not for profit organisation with a rich history of 120 years.
SDN Macquarie Park, which joined the SDN village in January 2025, is a purpose-built 90-place long day care centre and preschool, providing high quality care and learning in a safe and welcoming space that supports the inclusion of every child.
Centrally located on a quiet street in Macquarie Park within the Optus complex, the centre has easy access and convenient parking. This newly renovated centre has been refurbished with design principles and concepts of inclusion and neurodiversity in mind.
The outdoor spaces at this custom-built centre provides safe and stimulating environments for children to explore and learn and includes a bike track, sand pit and water play area. The open plan playground also includes a sensory area, which encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity.
The centre’s indoor spaces feature play rooms filled with natural light and a dining area, with our in-house chef cooking fresh nutritious meals every day.
The centre includes a dedicated Autism Specific Program, specially designed for more intensive and targeted support for autistic children. This program is for children 4-5 years old with a diagnosis of autism and to support their transition to school.
Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy is also offered at this centre at an additional cost to your centre enrolment.
Educators in this centre work in partnership with families to identify each child’s strengths and interests, choose teaching strategies, design learning environments, and to connect our service-based learning opportunities with home-based learning. A family meeting room provides a confidential and quiet space to meet with your child’s educator or centre director.
We look forward to welcoming your family to the SDN village!
